Angels & Abilities & All sorts of neat stuff (not really)

Eyo,
I was wondering - aside from the default - just what kind of abilities an angel (including the fallen) can have? For instance, Raphael is known as the healing angel, so would there be other abilities like this for them to specialise in?

What is their heavenly realm like? What is the falling process like? Are there other types of angels (i.e arch [Gabriel], Gregory, cherub, seraphim, etc.)? Or can I just make this up as I go?

Firstly I apologize for the wait on getting a response to your questions. :]

As far as abilities for fallen angels, fallen angels have the ability to kill a regular angel with the bow and arrows they carry while in angel form. They can also fly. An angel has the ability to scare away demons if he/she is in their angel forms and they can protect good witches / humans from them in this way. A good witch can heal an angel who has been shot with a fallen angel's arrow if they get to them in time. A good witch is really the only way an angel will survive after being shot by a fallen angel. 

Angels and fallen angels also have the ability of immortality - unless an angel is shot and not cured. Fallen angels can be harmed by angels or a good witch - if they drink a potion meant to kill them, etc. 

As for their heavenly realm, I sort of imagined them to mostly stay on Earth, protecting people where they felt led to go. Maybe a voice in their head directs them, or something like that. if you want to say they have a place to go to like heaven, or in the clouds, that would make sense as well. :]

Yes & no. xD What you said about the abilities was already in the creature "brochure," Gabriel Edwards. I suppose I was asking if they'd have other (individualistic) abilities when giving Raphael as the example (being known as a "healing" angel). But if that's your way of saying "no, that's their limit," then okay.

About their locations: kind of makes them sound like gregory. :3 Gregory are the angels that remain on earth and are often claimed as guardians of humanity (I suppose). So, makes sense. xD

Oh , well they can heal to a certain extent. What were you thinking as far as healing powers for him?

I wasn't thinking of healing powers in specific... ^^; I was thinking of individualistic abilities. I'll give you more examples:

Nike was the angel of victory. Her presence was basically a good luck charm to those she fought with (I guess).
Raphael (who is an arch) was the angel of healing.
Cupid/Eros was the angel of love & lust (I think).

Some of them even correspond with elements. For instance, Gabriel corresponds with water, whereas, Michael corresponds with fire. But not all of them correspond with an element (I think?). Some of them just serve as patrons, like Metatron (patron of children) and Jophiel (patron of artists).

So... I hope that is clear enough to make my question understandable. ^^; My question is... Do angels have other abilities (specific to themselves) aside from the default? If so, what types of abilities can they have? Would they correspond with an element or some sort of aura/charm (like Nike)? Or would it be something else..?

On top of that, are fallen angels the same way?

More questions:

1.) What makes an angel fall? Can they fornicate (if so, with whom/what) <-- PG-13, I know D<. Can they interfere with mortal affairs (i.e. their deaths), and so on?
2.) Assuming they can reproduce, I'm guessing they can reproduce? So, is their sex as fluid as their ability to change? For instance, can a female angel (or an angel who chooses to represent herself as female most typically) changes into a male, can she sire children? And vice versa (but can lady angels get pregnant?).
3.) Is their blood (I'm assuming they have it) toxic to damned creatures like weres and vampires?
4.) Considering immortals aren't "born," (which is why I asked #2 ), are angels primordial for the most part? Or are they some how made over time..? Like the deaths of certain people?

1. They'd simply have to choose evil in order to fall. They can have relations with people, and even children. For example Sarah Ellington (Coven leader's husband) was an angel, and her daughter has more of his traits as far as personality goes. They would appear to be human in every way except when they're helping someone in great need, and then they'd just have extra abilities such as their bright glow and wings, and all of that. It's sort of like Charmed if you've ever seen that series. They're able to interact just as much as humans, but they are there for a purpose.

2. As far as angels getting pregnant, it could happen, yes. As as I said above it's more like they're humans only with certain abilities that make them angels - for example, glowing brighter to fend off darkness, wings -which only show if they want them to, etc.

3. To a certain degree it would be. A demon would leave or shy away in their presence, not exactly sure how the blood thing would work, but if it was in a good witch's potion it might harm a dark angel, or a demon, etc.

4. They're immortal unless they're wounded in certain circumstances. They could technically die if a dark angel's arrow pierced their heart and they weren't cured from it's poison. If they had a child with a witch, that child would appear human and perhaps have a longer life but the child wouldn't be immortal.

So in a sense, they are immortal but they can be killed. They have weaknesses. If they decided to become a dark angel, then the potion of a good witch could kill them, or if they decided to remain in human form forever, they would sort of lose their longer life / immortality. I'm basing all this off of movies I have seen or books I have read, so I apologize if it seems muddled. I hope it answers the questions you had?
