He had fairly good genes. It meant that he was more attractive on the outside than he was on the inside. Much more attractive. But then there was the saying that the evilest devils had the face of angels. That was the case when it came to Michael. It meant it was easier to do the things he did. He was his own bait and lure in one. People approached him thinking he was one way and from there it was easy to talk that that person into heading out to a isolated location or a dark corner where they had the good chance of never being seen ever again. So he was pretty used to people casually walking up to him to start conversations.

People were willing to look past that hinky feeling they got when they spotted Michael to wander over and chat with him simply because he was good looking. He wasn't about to not use his natural talents though. Not when they made things so much easier for him. Using his natural talents at a park of all things could be considered odd but till he got familiar with his brand new home he was going to  try to be as 'social' as he could stand to be. But he wanted to ease into it. Which is why he went with a park rather than somewhere that a lot of people might be lurking. Ease into being social like it was a kiddie's wading pool or something. He mentally snorted at his line of thought and tossed an empty bag of popcorn into the trash can that he was walking by. once his hands were empty he  slipped them into the pockets of the pressed slacks he was wearing.

The park was fairly empty tonight so he might have succeeded a little to well when it came to picking a place that wouldn't have many people there. He mentally gave a shrug at the thought and kept walking along one of the well light paths. If he didn't actually meet anyone, or talk to anyone tonight he could always give it a go on another night he supposed. He tilted his head to the side as he allowed that thought to trail around in his mind. Spying a bench located near a cluster of trees he figured he could sit, wait to see if anyone approached him. That is if anyone else was actually out here at the park this night. He might actually be the only one. He gracefully managed to plop onto the bench and cross his legs while looking up and down the pathway he had just come from. No one in sight just yet. Hopefully that would change though.

It was a simple matter of being lost. This town wasn't the usual haunt. No in fact he didn't even like how eerie silent it got at night. After so many years in the big cities the silence spooked the old vampire. Hah! How ludicrous was it that he, Alistar O'Riley, the scourge of most vampires was spooked by the silence in a hick town? For shame! It didn't help that the last time he got to feed off of blood that wasn't an animal was those bounty hunters he murdered and then buried in the woods. Secrets so soon. That was the whole thing with the vampire, everything in his existence seemed to be a secret. One secret unto another. One day the burden of the secrets was just going to crush him. Mmm... The oceanic eyes moved over the park in silence for a moment. That was when he spotted the blond male who seemed to be all alone. He didn't have the spooky feel of the witches, so maybe this critter was something less dangerous? He sniffed the air, tasting it before frowning. It reminded him of Caius but it was bitter. Almost tainted. That... was rather odd. The eyebrows knitted in confusion.

Approaching in silence Allie peered over to the sliver of the moon in the air above their head. One nice thing about the hick city was the fact you could see the stars. Though he still missed being just another face in the crowd. Running his tongue over his fangs in thought, Alistar turned his gaze once more to Michael, the corner of his mouth twitching upward in one of his good natured smirks. What was he going to say? It wasn't like anyone in this little city knew what he truly was beyond Caius. Though he doubted the little angel was going to tell anyone of his true nature. People weren't overly fond of vampires after all. Their immortal beauty and the fact they were notorious for being cruel. ”Hey there, I haven't seen you around yet, or at any of those weekend movie events. Which means... You're either new, or a hermit.” Alistar grinned broadly as if he told a good joke. Sometimes manners were spent on a moron like him. Not that he'd admit that it was rude. The vampire simply wasn't used to being sensitive to other people. He had about as much class as a steam roller sometimes.

That aside! – ”I'm Alistar O'Riley. New to town myself. I deal with antiques. If you ever need to find an old rare weapon just let me know. I think I could find it rather quick. Heck I can find any ware with ease.” Alistar flashed a smile, offering a hand to the golden haired stranger. If things went well maybe he'd have his first friend in the little town. Caius didn't count because of past encounters. The hopeful glint was there in the vampires eye. There was also the fact he felt almost desperate to have a good meal again soon. His eyes trailed across the sturdy neck and then back to Mike's eyes with an innocent smile.

While most people would have been unnerved by the dead and more or less complete silence, Michael was completely fine with it. He wasn't one of those that needed to keep talking to avoid any pauses in a conversation and could easily not talk for days if the situation allowed it. So the fact that the park was silent, the only sounds being that of nature apparently getting ready to sleep for the rest of the night, was actually fine by Michael. It would make it easier for him to notice someone if anyone else actually did happen to be here. Though it was a strange feeling , Michael sensed Alistar long before he actually saw him. But no amount of peeking let him know where the other male was till he happened to be right in front of the fallen angel. He blinked in puzzlement a couple of time then narrowed his eyes.

Then like magic his expression went to an over all friendly one. One that someone who was more welcoming would most likely wear. It seemed like he wasn't the only one at the park. Which was good given he was giving a half attempt at being social after all. That was easiest to do with people to interact with after all. Though he should have been expecting it he was surprised when the other male spoke. his eyebrows went up slightly and he tilted his head before offering another smile. "New. In fact I haven't been here more than a handful of days." He had no idea what weekend movie thing was so he didn't respond to that bit of what the male had said. Curious now though he tilted his head to the side, away from the vampire though it wasn't his intentions to draw any focus to his neck. "Is the town so small or do I have newbie painted on my face and didn't know it?" Rather than the blank tone of voice that he usually had he amused as he asked.

He got a little more interested when the man told him his name and the fact he dealt with old rare weapons. That wasn't something a lot of people did and Michael had a fond place for blades in his heart. At the moment he couldn't think of anything he would need someone to actually look for but if he was given the time he could make up a demand that would put Alistar's abilities to the test. Seeing as the other male gave him his name it seemed only right to return the favor. "I'm Michael, Michael Charming. I'm a writer. So nothing nearly as interesting as finding swords." He gave the other male a curious look, he had noticed the attention to his neck and the fact that he was having a hard time reading the other male's thoughts. Which meant he had some power. "If you don't mind me asking.. what are you? You don't... feel human to me."

Small cities were abnormal to him, it reminded him of a time when he had been a young lad and the whole world seemed for the taking. The thought alone was one that was depressing for an old man like himself. That aside he was approaching the blond man in hopes of what? A friend perhaps. Though he didn't make those very easy so who was to say. In the end he felt like a stray animal who was in the hopes of food. Feeding off the wild life in the woods was less than good tasting. It was like having a choice between spam and steak, and only being able to afford the spam. He hadn't missed the way the other looked before slipping on that smile like a mask. Was there anyone in this city who didn't hide behind false pretenses? New to town? Hmm... Well at least there was someone else who didn't know the locals either then. He knew it was a bit obvious when they gave a look that clearly said 'who're you outsider?' the thought made the Irish man watch the man before him, the scent of toxic angel hanging in the air to the delicate senses. ”Well there isn't much up here for a welcoming committee but welcome to the town.” He smiled warmly, his best attempt at coming off as welcoming. The pale eyes flicked to the fallen angel's neck as he tipped his head to the side then back up to his face.

It's rather small honestly. Cozy though. Once you get used to the silence and the lack of danger in the area its like a new home. Allie mused before watching Mike with a content look. Sure he wasn't feeling the top notch right now but things would be better when he got his hands on a food source that wouldn't spill his secret to other people. Charming? What kind of a last name was that? Did they step out of a fairytale? The vampire watched Mike before blinking to the writer bit. He knew a couple of those in his time. Thoughtfully he peered at the park around them so he didn't end up eye humping the strangers throat. Though the wrist always had a good biting spot too. When Mike mentioned him not being a human, Alistar glanced back to the fallen angel slowly, wondering what to even say to that. ”Well jus' because I'm Irish doesn't mean I ain't a mortal.” He laughed richly, doing his best to make sure his fangs didn't show. Those oceanic eyes sparkled in a playful manner. It wasn't exactly like he could go about saying that he was a vampire and expect a warm greeting.

”I could ask the same of you though. If you're asking my why I'm not a mortal what does that make you?” Perceptive as ever he had an inkling of an idea from the scent that hung in the air like a perfume. It stank of power and darkness. Nothing like the light purity that Caius held in his own scent. Shifting his stance to a more comfortable one, Allie offered a curious glance. ”Probably best that you don't go asking locals what they are. You might offend the local coven of witches and I doubt they're against offering people as sacrifices.” He grinned. He hoped he wasn't spooking the angel. For a moment the slip of his fang showed and he glanced up to the sky above them once more before glancing back at Mike, there was a part of him that was like a pathetic puppy whining for scraps.

Now that he did have someone in front of him he gave them a fair bit of attention.While he didn't like people in general, large groups of people did stupid things while usually one on one the person was normal and fine to deal with. It didn't mean he couldn't handle large groups of people but he usually liked the option if it was an option. Give him one or two people and he was able to easily (if not somewhat creepily) interact with people. More than that and he wanted to start stabbing people en mass. In fact he didn't have to be around any more than three people before that urge started to build up in the back of his mind. So far the person in front of him wasn't bringing that urge out to the forefront of his mind. He gave an amused look at the comment that there was no welcome wagon. "No one with muffins or cookies? That's sad. I was looking forward to small town cooking. I'll have to keep dreaming I suppose." He wasn't really a fan of food but then till lately he hadn't had any real reason to eat human food either.

He gave a smile and leaned back against the bench,draping one arm along the back of it. "From the sound of it you're used to something a little busier than this then." If that was the case then he was wondering what the Irish male was doing here. Typically people who were used to more action (violent or not), well they avoided the boring places on the globe. then again he was drawn to this place as well so maybe something bigger was going on but not at a eye level. He'd find out by lurking around like a creepy stalker and mingling with people. Even if they didn't unroll a welcome wagon greeting for him. He grinned when Alistar mentioned that being Irish didn't mean he wasn't human. he did notice that he neatly avoided answering his question though. Which amused him rather than annoyed him. "I was an angel. I did a bad job though so they fired me." He tilted his head to the side as he made that comment without much feeling in his voice.

He made a curious face at the mention of witches. Not because he wasn't aware they existed but because he wasn't aware that they were a population of them in the city he had randomly decided to locate too. "I'll keep that in mind. I don't heal as well as I used too after all." He paused and licked his lower lip before eye balling Alistar some more. "So I told you what I was. What about you?" A moment later though he was flashed a smile and caught just a flash of fangs. Well that cleared up why he was staring at his neck but he kind of wanted to hear Alistar say it himself. He gave a patient look then patted the spot next to him. "Don't be a stranger." he was tempting fate by allowing a (could be) hungry vampire next to him but he was never the brightest when it came to his own personal safety after all.

Alistar offered a grin, ”No, no welcome wagon. I think you're more likely to be added to a spell than you are to be welcomed. Trust me.” He shook his head slightly, he didn't understand witches but he knew better than to piss them off. Piss off one witch you piss them all off. It was like the domino effect from hell and a rather effective one when it came to scaring people off. Busier than this? That actually had him pause and glance around the park, the silence was unnerving to someone who was used to the constant white noise of the city. He didn't know how to feel about it. Meant he might be a little more productive in this city though, far less distractions than all the other places he's lived thus far. ”I just moved here from LA actually. I got a letter inviting me to come here from what I thought was a friend.” He mused those words, mulling over them like a hound with a bone. ”But I suppose that friend got killed, I was met with bountyhunters who wanted me dead.” He feigned an innocent look before flicking his eyes to the star once more, soothed from seeing the inky speckled sight.

Waaaait, wait a second... Back up now.” Alistar flicked his gaze back to Micheal the corner of his mouth twitching in a frown. ”What do you mean you were fired? Angels can get fired from being angels? Allie looked slightly concerned mostly for the fact Caius was an angel, did that mean he could get fired too? Was their boss a dick? How could you speak for the big man in the sky, huh? The thought made Allie simply shake his head. When Michael returned to giving him the stare down the vampire did his best not to look too amused. Most times people gave up their interest in finding out what he was when he played coy. After all, who wants to poke a sleeping bear. ”I'm a vampire.” He offered finally, shaking his head. The words felt like a dirty secret escaping his mouth. The news of an undead being there in their little city best not spill out. After all Allie didn't feel like avoiding crazy locals when he was just starting to get used to the creepy silence. He never did understand why people liked living out in the woods so dang bad.

Shifting his stance he glanced to the bench and back to Mike, before drifting over, flopping down onto the wooden planks. Leaning back he peered at the sky making sure he wasn't eye balling up Mike's neck like he was tempted to. After all, it was like sitting next to a snack cake. How long could he hold out before he wanted to reach out and bury his fangs into the tender flesh for a taste of the sweet crimson nectar they called life blood. The thought alone made him look wistful, the fallen angel sure was tempting fate wanting Allie anywhere near him at all. ”I don't mean to stare.” Allie apologized after a moment glancing to the grass at their feet, scuffing a boot through the dew slickened grass.

He shook his head in a mock display of disappointment and snapped the fingers on the hand that was now currently laying along the back of the bench he was sitting on. Not that he was really disappointed at the lack of welcome wagon and possible baked good. He could safely assume that people who felt like he did, that humans were interesting but not the end all be all, were out there. They might have phrased that comment with 'people' rather than humans but the sentiment was still the same he supposed. Once he had snapped his fingers he laid the hand back along the bench once more before keeping curious and intense eyes on his company. He hadn't met a vampire before but that had to be what the male in front of him was. And he kind of liked the accent. It made him feel slightly warm which he hadn't thought was possible at all.

"LA to here? That had to be 0ne interesting culture shock." He glanced around the silent park as if to prove his point. He'd been to LA once but even that was to much drama for him. He hadn't stayed long before hitting Miami then Boston. This was pre getting thrown out of heaven though. Those cities might now hold some actual interest with Michael. He doubted but he figured since he hadn't lost his immortality he always had a chance go go revisit. "Was your friend like you? Or just a trouble maker?" Bounty hunters didn't lightly run around trying to snag easy kills from what he understood so Alistar's friend had to have done something naughty. Or interesting. "If that was your only tie to the area why stay? And are they still trying to kill you?" The longer that he interacted with Alistar the more questions seemed to be popping up into his head. He hoped the vampire wouldn't mind.

He gave an amused noise and looked over to the vampire as he finally sat down then mentioned he hadn't meant to stare. "Did you need to feed?" That was the impression that Michael was getting. "Do vampires kill when they feed? Or just take enough to slate the hunger?" He twisted slightly so that his body was angled towards Alistar as he both considered and answered his question. "If you don't take a lot.. you could feed from me. Consider it a gift since you're technically my welcome wagon as it were." He gave an actual honest bright white smile packed with charm. He'd never been bitten before so he was curious as to how much it would hurt, what it would feel like. That and Alistar didn't see that bad really, and was attractive. No hardship for him to let himself get bitten.

Culture shock? Allie glanced about the empty park in thought for a moment before glancing back to the fallen angel, the corner of his mouth twitching into a smile. ”Well I guess you're right on that, it's hard to get used to the silence but I'll make due.” He commented lightly, he didn't mind the silence so much h just wasn't used to having it like this. Smaller communities meant it was easier for him to be caught too. Luckily most people didn't want to believe that vampires existed so it was an ace in his sleeve as far as he was concerned. The ones that did know had their ways of protection against the scary blood suckers. Scary... Almost laughable that anyone would find Allie scary, until he got that look in his eyes that said tread light or die. Pale eyes focused on Michael in thought. ”Julian?” His attention went to the topic of the bounty hunters for a moment. Humans were always struggling against their fate. In his years of being alive he learned at least that much. It was like watching an insect struggle against a spiders web as the beast descends. ”Julian was like me.” He spoke softly, his voice sounding like a sigh.

”Just because they claim he's dead... doesn't mean I truly believe it. Julian was... Something else. If anyone could play the odds it was that man. I don't believe his death.” Alistar spoke calmly, he was certain that his friend was not dead. Was it denial at the face of the truth? When asked why he would stay here Allie merely looked to the sky once more. ”Once a dog catches your scent it won't stop hunting, so why would I run from them? If they want to play with death then I will not stop them from coming to me. In fact, I'm tired of traveling all the time. It'd be nice to have roots somewhere, even if just for a little while. Lets me open up my shop here.” He spoke lightly with a glint of light in his eyes. Did he mind that the fallen angel was asking all these questions? Not in the least. In reality, Alistar was a very social creature who'd not know what to do with himself if he had no one else to interact with. After all he always made sure to live somewhere with a large population, this time was no different than any of the others.

”Something along those lines. I've had to feed off animals lately and I can tell you I dislike it. They leave a grimy feeling in the mouth.” The oceanic eyes focused to Michael once more. ”Not to mention feeding off animals keeps a vampire weak and more susceptible to things used to kill us.” When asked if they killed when they fed, Allie arched a brow. ”Well no, we don't need to kill. In fact most times it's ill advised to do that. You could be dragged down into death yourself if not careful.” The voice was calm and relaxed. When Michael made his offer Alistar felt that pang of hunger once more. Someone was... offering him blood? If he had been a canine he'd sure have a wagging tail at the offer. He shifted closer to Michael, gently clasping a hand along the broad shoulder. Tugging him in close, he placed a tender kiss of thanks of the offered throat. ”It might sting at first.” He murmured, fangs baring as he bit down into the flesh, the natural lull of the vampire's venom making it feeling like the fallen angel was being stroked from the inside out. Feeding shallowly on the crimson life blood Alistar felt much better than he had in weeks. Pulling back he licked the shallow bite marks to heal with his saliva, eyes glittering like gems. ”Thank you.”

He had to admit that life had a way of surprising people, even Angels. Or ex-Angel as the case may be. He never would have thought he'd be here, both in a park at night talking to a vampire then offering to feed him or being a fallen angel. It wasn't that he did a bad job but he was a little to.. into punishing the wicked than most of the other angels liked. He considered it work that needed to be done and didn't dwell on the matter any longer than he needed too. Maybe he should have. There might have been warning signs, something to let him know he'd end up trapped on earth for the rest of his immortal life. Just that thought was enough to make him want to consider sighing. Parts of it wasn't so bad though. Like right now his company was both interesting and amusing. He knew that wasn't going to be the case every time he talked to someone so he was going to enjoy it while he could.

He was interested to hear that the friend that had invited Alistar here was in fact another vampire. It might explain why he was killed. People often did that to things they didn't understand. The knee jerk reaction was usually fear. It was one of the many things about humanity that often puzzled him honestly. He had long ago filed it away as something he would never fully understand tried to not think about it to much or poke at it. He blinked at how the vampire said that simply because people were saying Julian was dead didn't actually mean he was dead. He gave a slow nod of understand as he licked his bottom lip and nodded. He knew people who could 'vanish' like that so it didn't come as a complete surprise to hear that Alistar's friend was very much the same way. It might meant there was more than one vampire lurking around the area. Well outside of Alistar at least.

He quirked his eyebrow again, he really should have starte counting how many times he had done that so far just so he knew what number he happened to be up too. "That's true. I hadn't thought about it. Is it a serious danger? Or can you hold your own against bounty hunters?" Given the fact he owned an antiques he was sure that Alistar could at least defend himself enough to get away for another day if nothing else. He might be able to kill the hunters and had simply decided not to for whatever reason. He wouldn't know till he started asking questions. He felt better after asking the questions he ha about how Alistar feed. It was one of the reasons he offered a moment later. He wasn't sure what to expect so when Alistar grabbed his shoulder and got into position he simply tilted his head away to give the vampire as much room as he needed to work with. He gave a low hum noise as a piercing feeling got his attention, that was much more pleasant than he had thought it would be. A moment later he felt almost like he was getting pet and he squirmed, trying to get closer to Alistar till he pulled back signaling he was finished with feeding. He placed a hand on his neck and pulled it away, wondering if he'd see blood or not. "It's my pleasure. Actually if you ever need to feed again I'd be more than willing to do it."

Pale eyes watched the sky above their head as if wondering the plights of the world. Truth be told there were so many things going on in the vampire's mind at that moment that he didn't know what to say or even if he'd be a good conversationalist to the fallen angel. He found it odd that angels could fall to begin with. Wouldn't the big man in the sky have safety measures for that? Though at the same time the common lore was that Lucifer had been one of the most beautiful angels himself who grew jealous when god seemed to care about humans than his glorious angels. They turned on one another in a fierce battle. Flicking his gaze back to Michael he wondered if the ex-angel had fallen in a similar fashion. Would it be rude to ask, 'Hey why'd you fall to become a bad boy?' Probably. Probably smart not to ask something like that if he didn't feel like winding up stabbed. That'd just be his luck too. Make a quip about something and find a blade stuck between his ribs. Though to be fair he had been in such a situation before. There was a learning curve and surprisingly, Alistar was still learning some things no matter how confident he might've came off to people.

Serious danger? Alistar seemed almost thoughtful to that before shaking his head. ”Honestly I'd sound like an arrogant ass if I said that I'd be prepared at all times. Sometimes they'll gain the upper hand, I can acknowledge this, but I won't blink if it comes to ending their life.” He spoke simply, had nothing to do with the fact he had already killed two bounty hunters. Though... They had come in a group of four which meant the other two were roaming the city somewhere probably waiting for their chance to stab him full of silver then run away like giddy children. The thought made him shake his head. ”Bounty hunters are just pests that never cease to exist. Strike one down and another appears to make it's place. It's something I've learned in my time.” He flicked the oceanic eyes over to Michael to watch the fallen angel with a warm smile. It was nice to be able to talk to another local in the city without feeling like they were going to poke his eyes out with hot iron rods.

Michael seemed to enjoy being fed on, it was something Alistar knew felt good. Afterall before he had been turned his sire had enjoyed feeding on him constantly. The thought made him glance back to the sky for a moment. ”That's a very generous offer you're making me Michael. You don't even know if I'm some sort of crazy,” He glanced back over at the ex-angel with a calm look before snorting. ”Kidding. I'd be delighted to seek you out. Do you have an apartment or something? Or do you still live in a hotel until you find something?” Allie asked curiously wondering how far along Michael had gotten to getting to know the places and intermingling.

He was actually interested to hear what Alistar would say in regards to the bounty hunters. He'd never been in a spot where someone wanted him dead or was actively hunting him to kill him so he didn't know what kind of response was a normal one. It was his assumption that whatever the vampire told him, well that was what someone who was in that position would normally do. It didn't occur to him that it might not be the case. So he listened attentively as Alistar spoke. While he hadn't gleamed anything from Alistar's thought process when he first stat down the longer he sat with the more often random images were making their way to his mind. Not words exactly but picture. Pictures that were most likely Alistar's thought. Between the very vague picture he sensed as Alistar spoke and the way he spoke he was able to assume that however many hunters were now after the vampire? They had lost members of their group. Which allowed Michael to know he was right. The vampire could defend himself.

He gave an amused noise at how Alistar phrased them. Kill one and another appeared. To him that sounded like Demons. No matter how many you killed there was always another one. Maybe it was because becoming a demon was so tempting to people.He wasn't sure that bounty hunters were exactly the same as demons though. HE was sure they were only after Alistar because they thought he was going to go on killing sprees or something like that. So in their mind they were the lesser evil. In all honestly though Michael had seen people who claimed to do the right thing and end up creating more pain and suffering then the creatures or the people they were actually trying to get rid of. The path to hell was paved in good intentions he supposed. After Alistar finished feeding and went back to simply siting there Michal leaned against him lightly trying to not rub his finger over the bite mark. He idly wondered how long it would take the mark to heal since he did have most of his powers left. He wouldn't be surprised if the mark was healed already at this point. Really he had no idea since he'd never been bitten by a vampire before.

Hearing Alistar he gave an amused thought and tapped the side of his head. "I would know if you were completely insane. Most insane people can't mange to keep me out of their heads. They have other things to focus on. And I'm only getting random and vague pictures for you so I really doubt your completely cracked in the head." He meant it as statement of fact as well as a compliment. Most people didn't like other people thinking they were insane after all. Unless they were truly insane then they just didn't care. "I'm actually living at hotel. While I have money", he made a face to show what he thought about buying things now, "I'm not sure how much a house would be. Or how to go about actually buying one without scaring someone. I'm not very.. human like sometimes." He still hadn't managed to fake being human completely to be honest. He was still learning as he went along.
